ORGANIC VANUATU SPECIALTIES

 

Vanuatu locals love their food and why wouldn't they? We are blessed with an abundance of fresh organic produce. We all love the local seafood, particularly, deep sea Poulet Fish and Yellow Fin Tuna.  You haven't eaten Poulet Fish until you try our deep fried whole Poulet Fish. Malekula Island Mud Crabs  are on the menu whenever we can get them. Same as Coconut Crabs from the Banks & Torres Islands in the far north of Vanuatu, where they are not endangered. Local Lobsters come in a range of sizes and we aim to have them on the menu whenever possible.

Vanuatu is not limited to seafood. Our Grass Fed Beef from the Vanuatu Cattle Company, is some of the finest in the world.  Try our Rib Eye or Sirloin Steak and you will be singing the praises of our beef industry too. Speaking of comfort food, don't overlook Vanuatu's largest burgers. Our signature Wahoo Beef and Fish burgers  are for those of you with hefty appetities. They are guaranteed to satisfy.

If your cravings tend to be more luxurious our locally grown Teouma Prawns are fresh and sweet, and the locally caught yellow Fin Tuna is the perfect ingredient for our exceptional Tuna Sashimi and another of our signature dishes, Tuna Tetaki. Just ask the locals..... they will tell you to try Wahoo's Tuna Tetaki every time!
